Jonathan Porter (AKA “Johnny Tsunami”) is the fearless founder of Johnny Tsunami Wash. As Johnny grew up, he could rarely be found without a Super Soaker in hand. As the years matured so did Johnny's armory, right into a high powered pressure washing machine.  Talk about a man who's living his dreams.  Though the years matured, that same soaking spirit remained. Helpless bystanders turned into roofs & structures, and the cross heirs turned from classmates, to roofs and gates.  Dirty windows and gutters would also soon fall prey to the cleanly ways of Johnny.

On a more professional note, Johnny also enjoys working his hardest on a project, whether it be cleaning windows until they shine or hosing down a particularly gnarly roof. Johnny gets great satisfaction out of seeing a beautiful roof emerge out from underneath a bed of moss or a business look years younger after a thorough window cleaning. As a former Eagle Scout, Johnny prizes integrity and a strong work ethic: “I don’t skimp… I know a lot of businesses claim the same but I refuse to leave until the customer is absolutely satisfied with the job I have done,”.

When Johnny isn’t out beautifying the homes and businesses of Western Washington, he enjoys water sports (yes, including surfing), snowboarding and watching or playing soccer (go, Sounders!). He lived in South America for two years and speaks fluent Spanish. He also loves animals (meet his Mastiff-Chow mix, Jake, here) and believes in using only animal and plant-friendly cleaning products. Johnny loves Washington state and having lived here for 23 years, knows all the problems specific to the Northwest and will bring a wave of clean to your home or business.
